Description: RT 10~Up for sale is a single solid steel Antique Rat Trap. The trap was made in the 1930's by the Automatic Trap Co. Inc. of Webster, Iowa. I have read the company did not survive though WWII because of steel rationing ect. ~Regardless of the company history, this is probably the finest Rat Trap design ever produced!It is safe to bait and auto set, and you can dump the carcass out with out touching the Rat.~The build quality is rugged, solid steel, with double springs.There is a reason these traps will last...they are built like tanks!~The trap is new old stock, and does have some surface rust from decades of storage.~Check my other auctions as I am selling quite a few of these traps.Once they are gone they are gone.While I have owned all the traps I am selling, I have had them fully coated with WD40 to protect them.The trap pictured is covered in WD40, and will be shipped in a ziplock bag that way.~The trap is fully functional, and the springs are strong. You can use this to trap Rats or Mice, or you can add it to your collection for display.The trap you see pictured is exactly what you will receive...brochure is not included.
