"KADOYNG" is another science fiction-themed Children's Film Foundation movie, following on from my last experience of one, SUPERSONIC SAUCER. This one sees a little spaceship landing in the woods and the alien astronaut - who looks just like a human - befriending the usual gang of kids who are fighting having their village bulldozed to make way for a motorway. As usual he ends up helping them. There are the usual charmingly primitive special effects alongside good character work from the adult performers like Bill Owen, Jack Haig and Gerald Sim, and some of the kids have a lot of character too. Simple fare from another era.
