Description: This is a huge Old and New Testament Holy Bible (12 3/4" tall X 10 3/4" wide and 4" thick, weighs 11lbs.). Printing date of 1865. It was previously restored with new black leather covers and spine, beautiful. Just cosmetically restored with the leather cleaned and polished and the clasp polished. No loose pages. Some of these earlier Bibles had the heavy cardboard pages for portraits between the Old and New Testaments with the other family pages. They don't have the flexibility of paper and open to a V form (10th. picture). Later Bibles had the portrait pages in the rear. The family pages have some entries. No disappointments.
