Description: 1899 $5 SILVER CERTIFICATE Bill INDIAN CHIEF $5 Novelty FAKE Laminated Banknote. This is a reproduction of the once wildly popular bill. Real ones have colored ink. Green ink on the back and blue ink on either side of the Chief Running Antelope on the front. This was sold as a souvenir bookmark for tourists out west. It's size is smaller than today's bills. The original from 1899 is known by some as a horse blanket note because it is a whopping 25% larger than today's dollar bill. Saw a genuine one selling for $1500.This will be sent in a rigid photo mailer.
