Description: You are bidding on: A vintage roll of approx 100ft of b&w film -- the box is for color film but it's black/white. The date code on the edge of the film is for 1941. The original owner (who was a military man stationed with his family in Egypt early in the war, part of the Lend-Lease program), wrote "Heliopolis Swim Meet" on the box. The film shows a swim meet at a pool draped with flags from the U.S., Great Britain, and Egypt. You'll see men and women diving, some shots in slow-motion. There are some crazy dives, some tandem and triple dives. The reel ends with some blurry shots of the town. Condition: The film is in nice condition, with no vinegar syndrome odor. There is no leader. SHIPPING: $4.75 for s/h in the US -- International shipping will cost more (please ask before bidding). We usually ship 2x a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. Buyers from WA state and many other states will have to pay their state's Sales Tax -- the tax is automatically collected by ebay and not sent to the seller. International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Thanks for stopping by!
