Description: 1940s Hotel Raleigh Door Hanger Washington, DC "Oh, Maid!" VTG Advertising This great door hanger was in my late mother's effects. The Hotel Raleigh was built in 1911 at the Northeast corner of 12th St. and Pennsylvania Avenue, in the Beaux Arts style. The height limit for buildings was raised to accommodate it. The hotel was demolished in 1964. Yellowing to light cardboard of hanger. Light handling wear. Light corner crease. Measures 6 x 3.5 inches. Own an unusual part of Washington, D.C. history!
