Description: Offering a beautiful 1943 Hamilton Chronometer Watch Model 22 U.S. Navy No. 14647 as shown in our photos. The upper portion of the chronometer releases and lifts up for viewing while the lower portion releases to reveal the locking mechanism and for setting the correct time. As we mentioned in our condition description somehow the hour hand has detached from the center pin and needs to be replaced and set. Other than that, the box only shows a minimal amount of wear and has been well cared for over the years. Should make a gorgeous display piece for a nautical collector or could certainly still be used on anyone's sailboat or yacht.
