Description: Up for sale is an awesome vintage Stanwell estate pipe. Marked Stanwell de luxe reg’d no. 969-48 803 on the shank. Stanwell S on the stem. The Stanwell S without the crown was used until the late 1950’s and then was discontinued and replaced with the crown over S. This classic billiard sitter shape from Stanwell has a great look and feel. Fantastic black sandblast finish. In decent condition overall, but used and needs a good cleaning. The chamber is out of round and will need to be reamed. The stem has some oxidation and tooth chatter. Overall a nice solid vintage Stanwell for any collector or smoker.
