1977 Meat Loaf Bat Out of Hell Lot of 5 Items w/3 tour jackets, Incl. Meat's! +2

Description: This lot of 5 Meat Loaf items represents a once-in-a-lifetime chance to acquire a collection of items that just scream iconic. Meat is indisputably one of rock and roll's iconic figures; his first album (Bat Out of Hell, released on Oct. 21, 1977) is the 6th best selling album of all time with more than 43,000,000 albums sold; his first tour (89 dates from Oct. 29, 1977 in Chicago to Oct. 10, 1978 in Hamburg, Germany) rocked the world with his operatic rock sound; the three tour jackets offered (of only 25 that were made) are from that first Bat Out of Hell tour; the plaque (along with one of the tour jackets) was given by Meat Loaf to Bruce Lundvall (head of Columbia/Cleveland International Records from 1976-1981) after being turned down by scores of record labels and reads "for your support and belief in Meat Loaf with deep gratitude"; the baseball is from the 1994 Major League Baseball All-Star Game and is autographed by both Meat Loaf (who sang the U.S. National Anthem before the game) and Margo Timmins (who sang the Canadian National Anthem before the game). Provenance of the Meat Loaf tour jacket: I purchased this tour jacket years ago from Richard "Richie" Maiori. As you can see in Picture #17 of the listing, Richard was listed as a Production Assistant on Meat's 1977 Bat Out of Hell album. Richard got the jacket directly from Meat following the 1977-78 tour as a thank you for helping Meat out and taking him into his home during a time of personal emotional crisis in Meat's life early during the Bat Out of Hell tour. For helping him get back on track, Meat dubbed Richard as "Richie the Shrink". Provenance of the other 4 items: When Bruce Lundvall passed away, one of his relatives (son, I think) put many of his music memorabilia items up for auction on eBay and I won the auction that included the plaque and his Bat Out of Hell tour jacket. I won the Sandy tour jacket in an eBay auction. I won the Meat Loaf/Margo Timmins autographed baseball in a Hunt's Auction and I got it certified by JSA. The 24 accompanying photos: #1.
