1992 Ren Ferguson Gibson J2000 Acoustic Electric Guitar RARE

Description: This is a very rare guitar with only 12 made in 1992 in the Vintage Sunburst finish. Earth Magnetic Pickup The J-2000 is an exquisite example of guitar craftsmanship created by Gibson/Montana’s master luthier Ren Ferguson. In Ren’s own words, “I designed the J2000 to combined the elegance that is Gibson’s tradition, with the needs of modern day guitarists who desire full neck accessibility and demand the finest guitar money can buy.” The J-2000’s stunning inlay is hand selected from the finest green abalone and each piece is handcut and fit to create this masterpiece Gibson acoustic guitar. Each J-2000 is a very special Custom Shop instrument. The top is specially selected Sitka spruce and the back and sides are specially selected rosewood. The fretboard is bound ebony with ornate abalone inlays designed by Ren Ferguson. The J-2000 feature the old script Gibson logo and multiple binding on the headstock and body. This is a truly beautiful guitar. The case is a Gibson/Montana “Ultra Case” with leather case cover. Brand new Elixir strings. This guitar is in amazing condition. Just a little finish checking normal for a guitar of this age. The guitar is played almost everyday but is free from any flaws/ding/chips/scratches. There is one rough spot on one tuner peg and a very slight discoloration where your arm rest on the guitar. These can be seen in the pictures. Very slight flaws but I want to note everything. Recently setup with brand new strings; it also has a very nice Earth Magnetic acoustic guitar pickup. The case shows some wear but overall in very good condition.
