Description: Used, but in excellent condition. This is a 1997 Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster®. Made in USA. Weighs 8.0 pounds. All electronics are 100%. Neck is straight and true. No truss rod issues. Action is low and smooth. This was the first of the Fender "Artist Signature" Series. Incorporates the classic Yngwie features of brass nut, TBX Tone controls, and scalloped fingerboard. You want to play like Yngwie? Who doesn't? This is a great way to get started. Fret wear is tiny. Maybe 5%. This is a fantastic looker and an even better player. Includes the original Fender tweed case. The scalloped maple fretboard is rare. Most were rosewood. This rare maple fretboard is like the one Yngwie played a lot in his early albums, which many considered his best work. Sonic blue is also the rarest color. Includes original trem bar, hang tag, and some case candy (see photos).
