Description: Alabama governor, George Wallace, was an independent, third-party presidential candidate in 1968. A conservative, southern democrat, the vote totals he got that year made the election result so close that democrat Hubert Humphrey and republican Richard Nixon were most likely sweating bullets because of Wallace. Nixon became president, but Wallace was still a force to be reckoned-with in the next two elections. These are both about 15" x 4", the dated example being .25" smaller in size. They are in nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase.
