They were published for GREETINGS as well as BEST WISHES, and they could have been used for Fourth Of July celebrations. The postcards are colorful with USA flags and patriotic symbols. These postcards are reproductions of ones drawn by two famous American artists, O'Neil and Clapsaddle. These reproductions were published around the 1970 era. The postcards have nice patriotic messages. These are collector items because of their colorful design, and their overall appeal to those collecting Patriotic antique postcards. They also have a nice glimpse of life back in that era. The postcards are UNPOSTED and they have DIVIDED backs. These postcards were "Made in USA". These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, paper toning, and edge wear due to their age (over 100 years old!). The photos show the postcards and their backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS First Class mail when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz.
