Description: 1 - JC Higgins Leather Ed Brandt Model Junior Youth #1674. 4 finger. This glove is in great condition for its age. Some of the original leather stitching was replace with nylon. The inside is still in good condition and not coming apart. Missing the leather stitching in the holes on the lower balm area. 2 - Joe "Flash" Gordon 2 finger. Fits the left hand, so a right handers mitt. Glove has signs of wear and usage, but also signs of some great memories and love bestowed to a well maintained and oiled glove. Leather is still supple; glove appears to still have the original stringing, but I'm no expert, so please take a close look at the pictures. Joe "Flash" Gordon play 2nd base for the New York Yankees and then the Cleveland Indians through the 30's and 50's. He was a MVP and All-Star player during his career. He's a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2009. A great piece of memorabilia from a great era of American baseball. Please ask questions if you have them!!
