20” Antique German Kestner Gibson Girl 172 Bisque Shoulder Head Doll!

Description: From a Cape Cod estate in N Eastham Massachusetts. This doll has been in this collection since 1986 and she was a surprise Birthday gift. I included 2 photos of her notes in a doll inventory book. Lovely 19-20" Kestner Gibson girl marked 172 7 on the back of her shoulderhead. She has deep brown eyes that open and close. The remnants of mohair lashes remain. She has her original wig and plaster pate. She came in these antique clothes when she was purchased in 1986 for $3800. She has had a repair to stabilize her shoulder joints and this is noted in her 1986 description. There is less sawdust in her right knee joint than left so this might need addressing in the future but it is quite stable but needed to be mentioned. Her eyes look like they have been reset. Lastly when I flashed her head I saw a curved pinkish line on her back lower shoulder plate on the right side. I don't know if this is a hairline or not. Cracks run up and down and not circular or in this case crescent. The black light showed nothing but the regular flashlight did show this imperfection. This might be a mold flaw or straw line from the making but I would rather be completely transparent. This is not mentioned in the description of purchase and she certainly paid a hefty price if she is damaged. Please review all photos and ask questions. The photos are just as important as the written description as they show the complete doll and all imperfections. All sales are final NO RETURNS. She will be well packaged and shipped with insurance for her safety. Her head will be stuffed so eyes don't move. I am happy to combine shipping or arrange free local pick up on Cape Cod.
