Description: (4) Vernon Kilns Early California Luncheon plates 9-5/8” Orange 14” platter & Teal 12.25” platter For your consideration is this set of (3) Vernon Kilns Early California platters: (2) 14-1/8” x 10-3/8” in “radioactive" orange and cobalt blue and a teal green 12.25” x 8.75” platter. The set is in overall good vintage condition for their age (circa 1930s) with normal signs of use and wear but no significant chips or cracks. There are some pin pricks to the edge of the orange platter. Expect normal utensil marks, some scratches and associated wear. The orange platter has an area with some darker marks/scratches and a few other darker marks here and there. These are not mint...they were frequently used, but again, for over 80 years old, they look pretty good and should work well with your existing service. These will weigh about 8-9 lbs packed safely. I have a set of luncheon plates and a carafe listed separately Thank you! PS West Coast collectors: transport of these to So. California is possible if you are flexible on delivery date...mailing from there can dramatically lower your shipping costs. Please inquire if interested.
