He collected these and was a super loyal LOYOLA UNIVERSITY football fan. I inherited these and I don't collect programs these vintage....SO..... time to clean out the desk and move forward. LOYOLA UNIVERSITY VS SAINT MARY'S COLLEGE - OCTOBER 9, 1938 - 31 pages - very good/excellent condition. Showing minor water(?) stain area along the very bottom - BACK COVER. See Photo 2. LOYOLA UNIVERSITY VS ARIZONA - OCTOBER 21, 1938 - 31 pages - MINOR tiny stain spots along the right side edge - front page - Minor stain on back cover BOTTOM EDGE - minor creasing on front cover - See Photo 3. LOYOLA UNIVERSITY VS BAYLOR - NOVEMBER 11, 1938 - 31 pages - Minor/tiny "flea" bites along outside edge of front cover - See photo. 4. LOYOLA UNIVERSITY VS SAINT MARY'S - OCTOBER 15, 1939 -23 pages - Excellent condition - Probably the 2nd or 3rd best of the lot if with the minor water stain/minimal curling - showing on the back cover BOTTOM EDGE - See Photo 5. LOYOLA UNIVERSITY VS SAN JOSE STATE COLLEGE - NOVEMBER 17, 1939 - 31 pages - Excellent/Crisp condition - Probably the BEST of the lot. Note: Minor stain? back cover BOTTOM - See Photo Each OFFICIAL PROGRAM is full of articles and photos (mostly black/white). The great vintage advertisements from that era are terrific. A college athletic history from this era in each issue essentially. These are all the same size - 7.75" X 10.5" approximately They are all staple bound. Staples are secure and tight. NO PAGE(S) ARE MISSING OR WRITTEN UPON. SUPER CLEAN. No covers are loose. There is minor edge rubs/wear - some - more than others - see photos of each. No major damage/tears or any scotch tape repairs of ANY kind. Graphics are generally very bright and not faded. It seems that these vintage programs were stored together and at some point experienced minor water damage along the bottom edge of the programs. My photo #10 shows the very bottom areas of all the programs that I'm referring too. As you can see the minor damage is more evident in some programs than in others. No pages are stuck together. NO mold. No odor. This relatively MINOR water staining/damage is noted along the very bottom area of all programs basically as shown in photo #10. This minor water damage/staining does appear in SOME but not ALL - at the very lower portion of some of the interior pages. The BACK COVERS of these vintage programs is shown photo #7 and #8. Photo #7 is the BACK COVER for two of the programs. Photo #8 is on three of the programs. All BACK COVERS are really nice. That specific area of minor water damage is shown in photo #10 - which shows ALL the very lower bottom areas of ALL the programs lined up as shown. I'm obviously not going to be able to see/note, and or point out EVERY little minor rub, scrape, stain, etc., etc. on every single program in this lot. These are going on 85 years old. They have generally been lovingly taken care of over the years. But they are NOT MINT - so carefully check out all the photos I've posted for your evaluation and understanding.
