Description: I found this nice 5.25”nautiloid (paracymatoceras texanum) at a Main Street formation construction site off of McPherson in Fort Worth. This one looks great on both sides and very nice suture detail is visible. STAND INCLUDED. Please review ALL photos. I removed some excess matrix from this one with a Dremel 290 fit with a Zoic Paleotec short tip. It has a polyurethane coating as well. Nautiloids are estimated to be 90-100 million years old, from the Cretaceous period. This would be a nice addition to your collection!
