They are more porous than White Diamonds and are found in the upper layers of the ground relative to the White Diamonds that are mined deep. Some scientists are of the opinion that their origin maybe a Meteor that impacted earth Billions of years ago.What is their nature?Colored Diamonds are not found in the state as they are sold. They are made from earth mined rough rock found in mines of Brazil. The Rock colour varies from Light Blue, Dark Blue, Champagne, Pink, Green etc.What is the treatment process?To bring out its true colour it needs to be treated.The process is a natural one employing gentle heat in a high-pressure environment (HPHT) which gradually brings out the true colour of the Diamond.Are any artificial colors or chemicals added?There are no artificial colors or chemicals included in the process. They are not irradiated.Does it alter the composition?The process may or may not alter the composition. It remains a true Diamond nevertheless. Once our diamonds are heat-treated, it may move the molecules. This causes them to not always test properly with a hand tester.
