Description: Wooden smoothing plane with tapered sides. 8.25” long and ~3” wide at the widest part. No legible markings on body. I think there are some remnants on the toe but I can not make them out. Decent shape. Couple of cracks in the side with what I assume is a rusty nail head coming out of. General Body cracks from age and use but is still sound. Iron is marked “W. Butcher 3 cast steel warranted” with an arrow logo. I’m assuming this plane is from the middle to late 1800s but please make your own determinations. As is, review photos prior to bidding. Will combine shipping.
