MEIJI PERIOD A fine pair of Japanese cloisonné vases of baluster shape with e flared mouth masterfully worked in silver wire and colored cloisonné enamels decorated with irises on a dark blue background. Shakudo rims and double neck. Probably from Hayashi School, circa 1890. Condition: Overall very good condition commensurate with age, no loss or restoration, one minor dent to the back of the one barely noticeable. Refer to photos. Size: H- 18 cm
