Since Turmeric lowers blood pressure, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are already taking medicine for high blood pressure. I take Lisonpril and homeopathic digitalis, and this tea doesn't impair me at all. I have 3 kinds of arthritis: Osteo, Rheumatoid, and Psoriatic. When my inflammation gets bad, everything is so much harder. This tastes great, is a happy bright yellow- orange color, and you feel better within 45 minutes. Lower in caffeine than coffee or black tea, you won't feel jittery but you will feel better able to move around.
