Description: ANTIQUE 19th C. DIMINUTIVE Redware GLAZE Crock INCISED LINE 4.5" Tall PA Up for Auction. A wonderful recently purchased crock found at a local antique show from a Central PA Collection. Here is a Fine 19th Century Antique Small or Diminutive Redware Crock. The Crock measures 4.5" tall and it is completely Wheel Thrown and Handmade. It measures approx 3.75" at top rim edge to edge and approx 2.5" diameter at base. Please see the photo which highlights the wonderful wheel-thrown marks in the interior of the crock on the base. A wonderful swirl design that runs in the base- very wonderful and very hard to find. Some very very minor surface wear from use over the years, if any at all- a few very,very tiny base rim chips which are not worth mentioning, about as close to perfect as you will find -no cracks, no issues, no repairs. No apologies. Overall in Good Original As Found Condition. A Great Patina has Developed over the years and it and it displays really nicely.
