Description: This antique Bassett Limoges sugar bowl is a stunning addition to any collection. It is pattern BSS21, featuring a beautiful floral pattern of pink roses with swag greenery, gold gilt decoration, and a glossy finish. The lid adds an extra touch of elegance to the piece. Crafted from porcelain, this medium-sized sugar bowl is hand-decorated and dates back to the early 1900s. It is an original manufactured in Austria during the time period of 1870-1914. Perfect for all occasions, this sugar bowl is a unique and valuable find for collectors and admirers alike. The sugar bowl is in good used condition. The decals remain vibrant and intact. The gold gilt trim is in very good condition, with only the very top of the lid showing any wear. The porcelain is in good condition: there is an external hairline crack on the lower portion of the bowl, but it does not go through the porcelain into the inside (see last picture). There is a smooth divot on the underside of the bowl (see picture 11). This seems to have come from a glitch in the manufacturing process, as are a few little bumps on the underside edge.
