Description: Antique c1918 CAST IRON & OAK Wood Industrial DRAFTING Stool Bell System FACTORY Fantastic adjustable Factory / Workshop / Drafting featuring steam-bent THONET Bentwood Chair Co. -style solid Oak frame. THONET may have produced this under contract from Bell Telephone- it was dated to circa 1918. Retains its original finish & has a great aged patina appearance. Marked on bottom BELL SYSTEM Antique Industrial quality with solid Cast Iron hardware & heavy duty threaded center rod. Rotating seat is adjustable from about 25 inches to 32 inches, so it can be used at different height tables / counter / workbench The seat has its original caned insert, as you can see there is a small hole, I was going to replace the seat with new, exact matching caning but will wait for the buyer to let me know if they want that done.Seat diameter is 15.5 inches. There is a lower bent-wood foot rest ring, the foot rest measures 18.5" diameter. Casters on base for easy moving around are easily removable
