Description: CONDITION: Excellent This porcelain basket or centerpiece bowl was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden studio in the 1890s. It is 9 1/2 inches long, 6 1/2 wide and 4 1/4 inches high. It is intricately reticulated with tiny rosettes in blue and gold all over the outside. The inside of the bowl on the bottom has a large, brightly colored hand painted bouquet of flowers. There are cartouches of flowers within the reticulated decorations, inside and on the outside of the bowl. The bowl stands on 4 graceful legs and has scrolled shell handles. There are so many gilded details it is hard todescribe. Many of the design elements are similar to those used by Meissen. It is a delightful piece that would make a great gift idea. #C410 IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT PAY until you have purchased all the items you plan to bid on.
