Description: Large, tattered antique Irish Chain pattern quilt. In red, white, and blue, it displays well for all of USA patriotic decor. Signed with cross stitched initials on back. It is shown on a queen-sized bed and measures approximately 92" x 82". It is is made of cotton and I believe the backing is pieced feed sacks. The stitching in this quilt is pretty amazing. Please look closely at photos. There are a few aging spots on the front and the backing is aged...actually to my liking. It is more of an aged patina rather than actual stains. The whlte and blue fabric is in good aged condition with no noticeable tears or holes. However, all of the red squares are VERY tattered and worn. It is heavy also. I do not know age. The quilt can be used as a display piece or as a cutter for those looking to repurpose it. It has everything farmhouse, prim and country decor looks for. It will make beautiful pillows, bags, or even clothing. It has been laundered and sun dried and has no odors.
