The surface finish show some irregularities and defects characteristic of period pieces. It is 6 inches high, 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the top, and 4 5/8 inches in diameter at its widest at the base. The tankard features a brown slip band on the rim and handle. The tankard is in overall excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The tankard gives off a nice clear ringing sound when tapped.
