Description: - We are uncertain of the title and exact date of this painting. - This beautiful painting has such details from the trees to the boats setting out on the bay. - The frame measures 27 inches wide x 21 inches tall x 2 inches deep. - The canvas itself measures 23 inches wide x 16 inches tall. - In the bottom left hand corner has the signature and date of the artist. We believe it reads H.B. 1895. 1595? 1795? We couldn’t turn up any information on them. - The frame has beautiful details to it. Unfortunately, it has seen better days. The frame has now started to chip away at the edges. - When the painting has been turned around it appears that someone has repaired this painting once before in three different place. The patch work has help up but sadly, it has to be mended once again. The card that is attached we believe was the original restorer. We tried to reach out to her but no response. - We have included pictures of the discoloration of the aged canvas. We are thinking its a natural discoloration but are not certain if the painting was in a smokers home prior to us acquiring it. - If someone put some money into restoring it back to it original glow this painting would be truly captivating.
