Description: Each order contains a short 1 or 2 inch section of rhizome with 7-10 leaves. Anubias barteri var. nana 'petite' as the name suggest is one of the smaller varieties of Anubias, with leaves maxing out at about an inch, it adds texture to any tank. Like all Anubias, this slow growing plant has leaves that grow out of and along a rhizome with roots. The plant can be anchored to rocks, wood, or other decorations with fishing line while the roots attach. Propegation is as simple as cutting the rhizome along with some leaves. When placing Anubias, do not plant the rhizome under the substrate as it will rot.
