Description: Vintage Hofbrauhaus Munich Girl Lidded Character Beer Stein Made Germany --- Damaged area at the back of the lid base (it's where there's a small cast metal extension at the back of the metal rim, it's like an extension or "end" of the lid lever). There is a 1/2 moon crack/break (see the 4th photo for a view of the underside where you can see a small curved crack seam and the 5th photo for a view from the back). The crack looks like it goes through, it's possible it came that way when it left the factory. Another thing to notice is the crazing on the handle shows how the glaze crazing follows what looks like the seam line on the outside and inside of the handle where soiling has entered into that crazing seam line (makes it dark and essentially look like a crack, in this case I think it's stained crazing..see the 6th and 7th photo. Stands about 8.5" tall. Bottom diameter is about 3-7/8". I assume this is half liter. Has not been cleaned, has a layer of dust accumulation (seen mostly on the lid....looks like it's been on an open shelf for decades). There are some scratches into the clear glaze, I see them on the sides in the bottmo/back area (I took photos of the two places I found them).
