Description: Please see pictures for condition. Item has normal wear from use and handling. The piece measures about 8" x 7" x 5.5" and weighs about 8 pounds. There is no key for the casket. There are numerous condition issues with the piece. The name Cynthia is engraved in the lid (pictured). There are several areas that show a loss of color finish and some slight corrosion. The bottom plate is no longer affixed to the base and move slightly (can see gap in the picture). music box cranks and plays, but will sometimes continue playing when lid is closed, unsure if it is supposed to stop once lid closes. The top velvet tray is dirty and has one of the handled riped off, but still present. When on a flat surface there is a slight wobble, so a leg must be bent. Despite the flaws, this is still a rare and beautiful example of an Erhard & Sohne piece. Item will be shipped signature required.
