What condition is the disc in?Unless otherwise noted in the 'item condition' section of the listing, this item is in 'very good' or better condition.A 'very good' disc is one that may have some signs of previous use, but won't have multiple heavy or deep scratches. It will not be perfect or mint, but you will have no doubts that it will play back.We evaluate the disc based on the current cosmetic condition under reasonable lighting conditions. We cannot guarantee that a disc has never been resurfaced or repaired. Resurfaced discs are very common with pre-owned media.We sometimes photograph the front and back of both the case and the disc. Please note that the photos of the back of the disc are meant to show the pressing info, they are not meant to illustrate condition. Because of how light reflects off of discs, imperfections rarely show up in photos. What condition is the case in?For CDs in a standard jewel case, you will receive a clean jewel case that is free of cracks and dirt. We replace most jewel cases with brand new jewel cases when items enter our collection. Keep in mind that jewel cases are very prone to scratches and scuffs, even from being gently handled. Even know we replace the jewel cases on all our items, there may still be some scuffs from us handling the CD to photograph and store on our shelves.We cannot replace specialized cases or cardboard style cases. These may show visible wear from previous use.The inlay and booklet should be free from any major flaws like water damage, unless otherwise noted in the item condition section. They may have some visible signs of previous use.We try to use the same colour tray as the original release used (black, clear, etc). Sometimes this is not possible. You may receive a release with a case colour or tray that is not consistent with what it originally sold in. Do you use stock images? Will I receive the same item that is photographed?The photographs in our listing are not stock images (unless otherwise noted). They are photos that we took of the first example of this title that we have in stock. We sometimes have more than one of the same title that passes through our store. How will you package my CD?We ship in either a fibreboard CD mailer, a bubble mailer (with cardboard stiffeners), a corrugated CD box, or a larger cardboard box with padding. What we use depends on the package of the CD, how many CDs a buyer orders at the same time, and whether or not the order is an economy or expedited order. Why do you charge the shipping rate that you charge? Do you profit from the shipping?The rate we charge is based off of all the costs associated with safely shipping your item to you. The rate is not just based off of the face value of the postage.These costs include supplies (fibreboard mailers, bubble mailers, bubble wrap, postage labels, poly bags). These costs also include any fees associated with the shipping portion of the payment.Theses costs also include insurance, or when insurance is not available from the carrier, a reasonable rate for self insurance.We do our best to keep shipping costs as low as possible while still using appropriate supplies to send you your CD safely. We also sell brand new titles that we order directly from an authorized distributor in Canada. We only sell genuine authentic CDs. We verify the matrix, barcode, IFPI (for post 1994 CDs), or any other identifying information to ensure we only list authentic CDs. We also view embed pressing info when needed to verify DVDs or other media. Because eBay requires sellers to only make one listing per title, and because popular CDs can have dozens of different authentic presses from different years or locations, the matrix or identifying info on the CD may vary from the one in the photo. For common CDs where there isn't anything significant to distinguish the pressings, we usually will photograph the first CD we have in stock.
