Description: A great historic volume tracing the journey of the wonderful Thames River. From its rise to its fall. Can’t see a date but it’s a second edition. Late 1880’s I would think. Nicely leather bound, marbled end papers. Heavy volume, gold tooled spine. Pages very clean. Pages gilt edged. Features many detailed illustrations. Measures 9.25” x 7” x 1.5” The book does need a little TLC in terms of the front and back covers. The back cover is almost detached. Front cover also needs attention. Base of spine appears to have been repaired. Great find for the collector. Please see the photographs as these add to my description.
