Description: Boy with Goat Scent Bottle This adorable little piece was possibly made by Chelsea in the mid 18th Century but there are many reproductions out there. I have two of these purchased from a prominent private collector, the other looks newer to me, this one is believable as 18th Century. Undecipherable marks incised to base. Approx. 2.5" tall X 1" Provenance: Prominent Private Collection Documentation: The British Museum has four examples of this piece, both the Chelsea and German reproductions for reference Condition: Repair to one front horn, professional restoration to bottom edge, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected.
