Description: This listing is for one(1) 'Buster Brown' Sunday newspaper comic page probably by William Lawler assisted by the Herald staff. This item is not a reprint, it was extracted from a newspaper comic section dated January 16, 1908. This page is from the era when the Herald syndicate won exclusive use of the 'Buster Brown' title in a court battle. It is NOT one of those slick pages ripped out of a Cupples and Leon reprint book that are readily available all over EBAY.Note: It is known that Lawler was cartoonist on most Herald Buster Brown pages from 1906-11, however he was assisted periodically by the Herald staff and freelancers including Winsor McCay. I am unaware of any source which names which pages were drawn/assisted by whom.
