Description: Cabinet Card, a middle-aged couple with Bicycles & Their Store, 1890. A husband and wife in front of their retail store, appropriately for the times clothed in cycling attire. On the obverse wide margin of the mounting card is written in pencil, "taken in front of store in Little Utica". The couple is identified on the reverse as "Mr & Mrs. W. E. Parke" (or maybe "Parker") with the handwritten date 1890. Additional handwritten info on the back includes, "13 years in the store business, 9 years as postmaster. Gave $150 for the bicycles". Stamped twice on the back is "F. M. Adsit, Little Utica, N. Y.", identifying the photographer. The cabinet card is in good condition, except for upper right corner of card being bent and creased, affecting a tiny part of the image. The image is light, and faces of the subjects lack details.
