Description: This is a Chinese Rose Mandarin Moon Flask Lamp Vase with double handle gilt gold elephant heads and decorative finial. Oval stained wooded base with four feet. Hand painted with lovely birds, butterflies, dragons, fans, fruit, flowers, furniture, leaves, ornamental rocks, Chinese symbols, Noble Men and Women with their families in their home and or pavilion, repetitive traditional, scrolling designs, and much more.The hand painted colors with some low relief include black, gilt gold, cinnabar, red, with shades of blue, green, orange, pink, purple, skin tone, and yellow all on a white ground.Measurements are as follows:Stands approximately 27 1/2” tall measured to the tip of its finial.Harp holder to tip of finial measures approximately 12 3/16”.Bottom of vase to top of vase to where the lamp top meets vase measures approximately 11 ¼”.Top rim of vase measures approximately 3” in diameter.Approximately 8” across the front of the jar at its widest.Base of vase measures approximately 3 ¾” x 2 5/8”.Oval wooden base measures approximately 6” x 4 ½”.Condition is as follows:Old dirt/dust. * Oxidation to metal.Paint loss, smears, drips, and areas where the paint did not cover completely.Some surface scratches.1/8” shallow chip in the sleeve of the pink robe of the Nobleman.Wooden base has some imperfection in the staining, surface scratches, a bit deeper than surface scratches, and flakes.
