Classic Comics 23 (1945): Original: Oliver Twist: FREE to combine- in Fair/Good condition This comic book is towards the lower end regarding condition due to the chip at the bottom right hand corner of the front cover, and some spine splits/tears. All pictures shown are of the actual scans of this comic book for sale (and which you will receive) and not from another source. There is a "Coming Next Month" ad in the inside front cover page promoting issue #23 'Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court'; there is a Highest Reorder Number (HRN)- 23- on the inside back cover. This comic book, which is almost 80 years old, has a fairly decent looking cover shine, and an average crispness level (aside from the chip/spine split). The flaws are typical of what one would find in this condition, such as a 1" x 3/4" chip at the bottom right edge of the front cover, a similar sized chip at the opposite corner of the back cover, a 1 1/4" spine split, a tear/fold-over along the right edge of the front cover plus along the bottom left hand corner of the back cover, several creases, and general wear. Inside, everything is complete (16 front/back pages before the center staple, and 12 afterwards), with no coupons or panels cut out, as the structure is reasonably solid, with no detectable brittleness, with the OWL whiteness level about a 4 or a 5.
