Pre-owned.Model Number AA36107 This is the Catalina as deployed to reconnaissance, convoy and anti-submarine patrol duties during the Battle of the Atlantic, in RCAF markings, bristling with underwing antennae, and appears in matt white coverall scheme in 'battle worn effect,' as pictured from multiple angles.This one is a rare bird, and appears, as pictured, in excellent 'near new' condition. Only a 1000 of these were issued. Model represents aircraft assigned to RCAF 117 Squadron to cover the western Atlantic coast very similar to picture as below:Pre-owned from new, in excellent and 'near new' appearance, bought to collect, all as pictured from multiple angles for prospective buyers to determine the condition of this example. Near new, as the gun for the forward turret is missing! Otherwise, everything is there.Model comes complete with Limited Edition Certification Number 0193 of JUST 1000 issued, again as pictured.This Catalina comes complete with all accessories for optional landing gear settings, tail balance support for display in 'landed' configuration, underwing bombs, and retractable float planes, again as pictured. The model also comes with stand components, also as pictured. The model features rotating propellors, turrets, and rotating main undercarriage wheels. Glossy colourfully illustrated outer boxing in VGC, with some scuffing to box base. The internal protective polystyrene packaging is sturdy and remains excellent, again as pictured.
