Description: This auction is for a Danbury Mint 1949 MERCURY STATION WAGON in 1:24 scale. This is becoming an exceedingly RARE car! And this one is in beautiful condition! It appears that this one has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED! It is in IMMACULATE condition! It looks brand new! The Bermuda Cream paint is very bright and clean, and looks fantastic in every way! The paint is in gorgeous shape, is very glossy, and shines quite nicely! There is very little if any paint rash, and the paint looks incredible! And what a lovely color on this car! The wood body panels are magnificent, and complement the pretty cream paint perfectly! Everything fits in place as it is should. This car will display wonderfully! The classic maroon interior is beautifully detailed, is in excellent condition, immaculate, and looks brand new! The chrome shines, and is likewise in excellent condition, and the windows are clean and clear. One neat feature is that the rear windows slide open and closed. They function normally, and without issue. The car is intact in every way, is missing nothing, and all parts are present and functional. It comes with the option to insert the removable rear seat, which is magnetic, and of course included in its clear protective packaging (pack is a bit yellowed from age). And it appears to have never been removed! The metal seat placement and removal tool is also included in the packaging. This diecast is virtually flawless! All the badges and emblems are intact, and in superior condition! The wheels turn, and pivot with the steering wheel. This comes in its original box and protective styrofoam. There is some writing on the end flap of the box, indicating the model within. There is no paperwork. This car is a beautiful representative model, and is in spectacular condition! And again these are becoming VERY RARE, and this one is in nearly flawless and UNDISPLAYED condition! These are getting to be difficult to find, but here is an opportunity to own a beautiful and rare car at a very reasonable price!
