The anti-feed back lead is a great option to the self-excited or a 1 wire alternator.There is a diode in the excitation wire to prevent back-feeding the current. Plug the anti feed-back lead into your alternator & install the repair lead harness. The red wire can be connected to the battery stud on the rear of the alternator. The white wire can be connected to the positive side of the ignition coil or any convenient 12-volt power source that is hot only when the engine is running. These leads fit 10SI, 12SI, 15SI, 17SI, & 27SI Delco alternators.You will not need to rev the engine to get the alternator to kick in.
