Description: For sale is one USED early 1900's vintage Dunlap lead melting / stove / furnace / burner / smelter type item. No melting pots nor ladles included. I removed what smelled like gasoline from it before packaging it, and the inside tank seemed to be clean and rust free, except maybe small pieces of debris. This has various cosmetic flaws including rust, debris, paint, paint loss, damaged label, etc.. There are signs of use and / or wear. It appears to be in usable condition; it pumps up and stays pumped up, gas comes out the small hole in end of pipe (picture #11), no leaks around filler hole (picture #7), and shut off knob (picture #2) seems to work and be tight. Removable pipe (picture #11) has a slight bend, but is hollow only to small side hole seen in it near right end. I suspect it might light right up and provide a flame that would heat and vaporize gas coming down the center coils, but was afraid to try it and was not certain how it worked nor the correct fuel to use. So, sold "AS IS", not guaranteed to work. The diameter at the base is about 9.5" and it is about 12" tall from base to top not including the handle. It weighs right at 10 pounds 9.2 oz. on my little postal scale BEFORE being packaged for shipping.
