Use the higher dosage on older ponds or ponds higher levels of sludge/muck. An initial application should be doubled to jump start the process. Avoid using copper based algaecides for 48 hours within application of Pond-Vive. Examples of Dosage Rates: Newer ponds with little "muck" - apply 4 lbs per surface area/2 weeks Older ponds with little "muck" - apply 6 lbs per surface area/2 weeks For best results, the initial application should be doubled to jump start the process.
