Description: You are purchasing an original Emilio Pucci umbrella / parasol created for the now defunct airline Braniff. It was acquired at a vintage store in Dallas, Texas in 1990. This rare piece of history is in excellent condition and has minimal wear. Please see the pictures. Once purchased, the umbrella will be sent priority mail and will require a signature upon delivery. Fashion designer Emilio Pucci (1914 – 1992) created outfits for the jet-set. From 1965 to 1973 Pucci dressed the staff of Dallas-based Braniff International Airline (1928 – 1982) using vibrant kaleidoscopic colors and eccentric geometric lines. Pucci designed colorful, bright uniforms and accessories for the flight attendants in Braniff Airlines “The end of the plain plane” campaign. Often described as “kaleidoscopic,” a classic Pucci print is a swirling mass of abstract shapes, sinuous lines and wild color. Pucci designed the prints himself, drawing inspiration from his Italian heritage and his extensive travels around the globe. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have questions before or after your purchase. Please read the description and carefully look at all of the pictures before making a decision to buy. Thank you for stopping by :-)
