Description: What I always say about these parts is, "when you need one, you need one". I don't know the maker (if you do, please let me know). Not being a glass expert, it seems everything with a ruffled edge like this is attributed to Fenton. All I can do is describe to the best of my ability and hope it is enough for you to assure yourself you're buying the right replacement. This is one of the peripheral trumpets, not the center to the epergne. This epergne trumpet or horn has a swirl body and insertion tip in clear aqua blue. The ruffled flared end has pressed flowers at its neck. The ruffled, floral section is an opaque opalescent light blue. The flared, ruffled edge is triangular in shape. Seams are visible on opposing sides of the swirled body. Dimensions: 8" long x 5” Wide x 4.5” Deep. Stem tip approx. 5/8" diameter at top of insertion section (which is a total of 1" long), tapering to 1/2" at very tip. Swirl body before "flare" is 5.25" long, of which approx. 1/2" is opalescent light blue. The flare rim is approx. 2" diameter. Unpacked weight: 10.5 oz. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. No sickness or residues. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges. There are scratches on the base as might be expected when trumpet inserted / taken off. Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping. I only charge actual postage, and always use recycled packing materials. Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles. On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views. I gladly accept returns, but please note I do not pay return postage unless there was a significant error in my description. The item listed is being sold as is, as pictured and as described to the best of my knowledge. All dimensions and weights approximate. If you have a question or an assumption on an item prior to purchase, please ask. I much prefer to take the time on the front end to make sure you will be satisfied with your purchase. Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
