Description: A “MUST HAVE Native Collectors piece!! The most controversial Native American jewelry piece known as the Ambrose Rainbow Yei Squash Blossom necklace was for decades described to have been handmade by the Legendary Navajo artist/instructor Ambrose Roanhorse. For decades the Ambrose Roanhorse hallmark has been known and published as the letter A inside a keystone and also the letters AR under a stick figure horse. It wasn’t until many years later it was noted that there was another Navajo artist/instructor by the name of Ambrose Lincoln who around the same time as Roanhorse was also employed at the Santa Fe Indian School and that it was Lincoln who used this hallmark (A inside a keystone) on his jewelry. Since then there has been many questions to who really made this necklace. Some collectors still believe that Roanhorse used both hallmarks however others believe that the A hallmark belongs to Lincoln. Either way, this stunning necklace has always been an attraction & is definitely a museum quality piece. This impressive 30 inch long Rainbow Yei design sterling bench bead Squash blossom necklace is made with 12 beautiful hand casted thick Sterling silver Rainbow Yei pendants set with gorgeous turquoise gemstone inlay and in the center of the necklace hangs a Large matching eye catching Rainbow Yei center Naja pendant. Such a lovely long hand crafted piece. I added plenty of pictures including measurements for you to see. The necklace is roughly 30 inches long & weighs a heavy 187+ grams. This piece will make an excellent addition to any Native American collection. Take advantage of this super rare opportunity of owning one of the most interesting & most talked about Native jewelry pieces out there.
