Description: VINTAGE SET 1971-72 REGESTRATION CALIFORNIA GOLD BLUE LICENSE PLATE TAG 871 BJN.This set of tags are in very good to excellent condition and are straight with great original paint and a green registration(added to the wrong side) in 1970, the first year for this color scheme with a 1972 yellow registration sticker (added in addition to the one already on the wrong side) the next year.Most times these will be put on top of each other and a mouth is included on the left.They must have discarded the month and drove for acouple years undetected.The front plate has a light ripple painted area along the center right side,almost looks like a clear coat was added or flaw from the prison and sold from the DMV that way.Hard to find good help in those days.These plates are about as straight as you can get and had frames around them.So if you are interested in adding some points to your show car these plates are it and a definite conservation piece that people are interested in seeing.It's like anything else that has a flaw in it that is government issue and there aren't anymore and no going back.The last ten pictures are after I wiped them downwind a damp towel so if you are interested in this set of plates with stickers you can buy them now in this listing and I will send this set out to the successful buyer as soon as the payment clears.Thank you for your consideration of the 871 BJN plates and if you have any questions you may contact me thru this listing.
