Description: The stock is in very good condition. It was manufactured by the Mauser factory. You can see the improved mechanism that grips the wooden part better than the first generation produced by DWM. The mechanism moves a little hard because it is covered in rust, but it works and fits the P08 perfectly. The stock has a double strap that seems to be designed for a different type of holster. On the back there are two metal nuts that fit a 4mm bolt, but I don't know their purpose. It has a built-in metal circle with a stamped "G". I tried to find the meaning of this symbol, the only place it was used during the war was as the insignia of the Guderian division. The brass plate with the Mauser logo is also marked "Lange pistole", which means that the stock is intended for the Artillery Model P08, but also fits a standard P08 perfectly.
