Description: Here is a spectacular group of vintage airmail stamps from the infamous Third Reich era of Nazi Germany. These definitely are oldies, pushing ALMOST 90 years old. These are among the first stamps that I acquired when I was living in Frankfurt, Germany. These were not easy to barter for! These are premium souvenir stamps among the German collectors and came at a good price set in German marks at the time. Although most of these air mail stamps had been hinged at one time, the backings are still in solid condition. On at least a couple of these stamps, the date of "1935" from the hand postmark is plainly visible. Also, it appears that several of these stamps were postmarked out of the beautiful city of Stuttgart. The following are the denominations of the stamps: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 40, 50, and 80 pfennig. These stamps, although used, were in high demand by many of my fellow German stamp collectors.
